Hotel Marriott Tirana

The tallest building in the Albanian capital Tirana was inaugurated at the beginning of 2023. The Marriott Hotel, housed in the 112-metre high skyscraper, relies on a comprehensive fire protection solution from Securiton. The hotel is integrated into the Air Albania Stadium, which was opened three years previously. The Securiton fire protection system covers the hotel in the high-rise build-ing, shopping outlets and the underground car park.

In the city centre of Tirana, the new prestigious football stadium Air Albania Stadium was inaugurated in November 2019. Three years later, the final mosaic stone in this overall complex was completed, the Marriott Hotel Tirana. This is located on the corner side of the stadium, clearly visible as a 112-metre-high tower. On completion, this was the tallest and first building in Albania to exceed 100 metres in height. The hotel comprises 155 hotel rooms, restaurant, sauna, steam bath, fitness centre, conference and event rooms as well as an underground car park.

The 100 percent redundant SecuriFire fire alarm system was installed - other Marriott hotels around the globe already rely on Securiton's high-quality fire protection. Accordingly, networked SecuriFire control centres have been installed at the Marriott Hotel Tirana. Fire detection is provided by hundreds of multi-criteria fire detectors, many of which are equipped with voice alarms. In the lift shafts, SecuriSmoke ASD 535 aspirating smoke detectors and in the underground car park SecuriHeat ADW 535 linear heat detectors guarantee fast and reliable detection of any fires.
